This past Friday the Maine Women’s Volleyball team defeated Husson College in three straight sets. The set scores for the game were 25-10, 25-10 and 25-6. The Maine team came out with a high level of intensity that lasted throughout the game. The shorter Husson team had a hard time blocking the taller faster Maine attack, which Lindsay Allman led with eight kills of her own.
The Maine offense ran smoothly with sophomore setter Paige Tortorello directing the traffic. Tortorello racked up 32 assists in the three games and was also able to score 7 points of her own on aces.
