Team Moxie Spotlight, Edition 1

This week is the first week of playoffs for most of the fall intramural sports. As a reoccurring story I decided to follow Team Moxie, primarily second year students with lots of nicknames, through their post-season journey. Team Moxie took to the field today in an effort to keep their championship dreams alive. They did so while easily diminishing Dwight Shrute’s chances of becoming intramural league champions, defeating them 17-4. Taylor “Killer” LaPierre of Team Moxie lead the team with 7 touchdown passes. After the game LaPierre commented on the game, he stated, “Practice equals success, they (Dwight Shrute) needed practice”. LaPierre went on to say that victory is guaranteed in the second round of the playoffs.
On a more positive note, new recruit Jacqueline “Butter” Ducharme caught her first touchdown pass in the second half of the game. The pass was thrown from long time boyfriend Greg “Grease” Pease. Team Moxie faces their next opponent on Wednesday October 1.
