My Beat

The beat that I chose to write my blog entries on is sports. I figured that a lot of people would do sports and you can only read so much about a football so I decided to do smaller scale sports such as club and intramural sports. I also decided that it would be nice if I added in some upcoming events at the campus recreation center, and other athletic activities happening around campus. I also would like to include some stories about varsity women’s volleyball as I am a volleyball player myself and have worked at games. Being involved in intramural sports I have also made connections with a lot of other intramural athletes and officials.
Since I have to write one entry everyday I realize that I might have to branch out from just Umaine sports and maybe comment on sports nationwide. All in all I am very excited to get this blog underway.
